A retreat to tend to the artist and trust the creative process

Do you remember a time when creativity was spontaneous and natural? Perhaps you played with sticks and rocks, cut paper, talked to flowers, drew, sang, and daydreamed. In this retreat, we remember that part of us and honor the creative process as medicinal, oracular, restful, spiritual, and meditative.
On this retreat, we will explore the blank page as an altar. We will listen, trust, and then respond creatively. Supported by the northern New Mexican landscape, participants will engage in the art of observation, watercolor painting, bilateral drawing, and cultivating or nourishing a daily creative practice as spiritual devotion.
This retreat is for everyone! It is not limited to those who identify as “artists”. If your inner creative explorer is ignited by spending time in creative community this retreat is for you; please join us and honor your creaitve-artist-maker-dabbler-painter-writer-artisnal soul.

Visit to art store & O'Keeffe Museum
Free afternoon from 1:00pm to 7pm
This is the day we recommend that after we visit the art store and museum you explore the surroundings on your own, maybe sketch paint outside (wether permitting).

Accommodation Information:
All accommodations at Rancho Gallina are single occupancy, some with ensuite bathrooms, some shared. You can make your request with your payment on a first come first serve basis. Please note that there is a local cat at the ranch, please let us know if you are allergic.
Meals at Rancho Gallina:
Rancho Gallina hosts will cater to lunches and dinners: healthy, seasonal meals from scratch with a Southwestern flair. For breakfast the communal kitchen will be stocked, and coffee/ tea will be provided by hosts.

Four month payment plan (4 payments of $575) choose the option below. Payment does not include Airfare, transportation within New Mexico, meals in town or tips. These payments will be an automatic deduction via PayPal billed on the day you begin your plan.
