The chakras represent a system of unfolding awareness—each one holding a unique key to our inner wisdom. In this 5-week course, you'll learn to creatively experience this subtle system through mantra, yantra, and meditation, allowing the hidden teachings of the chakras to be revealed.
Using the sacred practice of yantra painting, you'll explore the architecture of each chakra through drawing, color, sound, and focused attention. This course invites you to cultivate a deeper relationship with your spiritual life, as a creative ritual to awaken the subtle garden within.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the chakra system and discover multiple ways to integrate this wisdom into your personal practice or teaching.
What You’ll Learn:
The geometric symbology of the chakras through hands-on drawing and painting
Tools and techniques for working with compass, ruler, pigments, brushes, and basic color mixing
How the Sanskrit alphabet relates to each chakra and how to chant it
Introduction to Laya Yoga: meditation and visualization for chakra cultivation
Dharana (concentration) practices to deepen self-awareness and inner focus
A creative approach to understanding the archetypal anatomy of the subtle body
