Bosquejos y Bodegón: Sketches & Stilling Life
Listening Through Exploratory Drawing

What if drawing wasn't only about capturing what we see, but about entering into relationship with what we behold?

Together, we will slow down with a collection of handmade Oaxacan ceramic pots gathered at Living Threads Studio. In Spanish, “still life” translates to naturaleza muerta ("dead nature"), the word bodegón also evokes a storeroom—a place where vessels preserve memory, nourishment, and history. Through observational drawing, communal sketching, and depth psychological practices, we will imagine the lives these vessels have held and allow their quiet wisdom to unfold through the movement of our hands.

This workshop welcomes all levels of experience.
No drawing background is needed.
All materials are provided; simply bring your curiosity and willingness to create.
Space is limited.
