Creative Care for the Holidays

Honor your Creative Wellness and Soul Care

In this fall course, participants will explore a creative path toward supporting and regulating the nervous system as we move into what often feels like a difficult, elated, and stressful time. Some people love the holiday season, while for others, it can bring up some intense emotions. In any case, many spaces and places we occupy or visit during this time exude the sensations of rush, pressure, overwhelm, and depletion in all their manifestations.

For this reason, I invite you into the world of medicinal art, learning to support and nourish your nervous system and engage in rituals that help to release and ground the ups and downs. Together we will explore archetypal shapes, marks, and intuitive drawing as an outlet for our emotions.

This course is for you if you want:

  • to be part of a communal practice during the holiday season

  • an outlet to release emotions that harbor during the holidays

  • to play with your boxed-up art supplies

  • to explore your inherent creative pulse

  • to play, bring joy to your life in a new way

  • to end 2022 creatively

This course is for all! You do not need any creative experience at all. This space is also for creatives that enjoy being in circle and engaging with their craft in a new way. As always, we welcome ourselves to practice as we are, suspend our judgment, and invoke a childlike, beginners approach.

Each week a lesson will open, which will include:
~ A creative tutorial,
~ A rest practice
~ A movement exploration
~ A PDF journal to support your self-inquiry and contemplations.

Each session will explore different materials, shapes, and creative processes and include supportive meditation, rest invitations, self-inquiry questions, and ritual suggestions to support your nervous system, mind, and heart.

Schedule of lessons:
Nov 13: The Bowl
