Saturn Yantra Sadhana: Venerating the Ancestors

To honor Saturn entering Pieces, this month’s yantra sadhana focuses on Saturn’s planetary yantra. The building process of creating a yantra can support one’s relationship with the planet.

In Western and Eastern astrology, Saturn is labeled “malefic” with a bad reputation as an evil troublemaker and bearer of bad luck. Yogini Shambhavi explains that although considered malefic, Saturn is a friend to those “who are willing to let go of the outer world and its attachments…Shani is the inner guru offering every sadhaka, (spiritual practitioner) experience jñana, or knowledge making sure that we learn life’s lessons at its deepest level.”

In the tutorials, you will be led through the ritual of drawing the Saturn Yantra, from beginning to end and because it’s a video tutorial, you get to pause, rewind and review as many times as you wish! Videos are set up so you can stop and rest and not ever rush. The process of making a yantra is a Sadhana, a spiritual practice—best executed with time and reverence.

This offering is by donation thru the end of March—give what you can! It is my wish that more of us spend time in creative contemplation. And just so you know, you don’t have to finish the yantra in one month, you will have continued access.
