August 14 – 15, 2021
9:00 – 3:00pm (PST) *virtual event*
Hosted by Kule Yoga & Ayurveda

To begin a relationship with the Wisdom Goddesses is to receive both inspiration and an invitation to awaken the Self’s deep mysteries. This workshop will explore East Indian Goddesses Lakshmi, Durga, and Saraswati through their mythologies, iconography, mantra, and yantra.

Lakshmi is the fullness of benevolence. She is the archetypal image of abundance, wealth, prosperity, and ojas and the balanced traits of Kapha (earth & water elements). She shares the wisdom of beauty, self-care, and gratitude.

Durga is the ambassador of invincible courage who skillfully guides us towards our own wellspring of strength through awareness and action. She is the embodiment of a divine warrior and holds the attributes of tejas and the balanced traits of Pitta (water and fire elements).

Saraswati is the ruler of the chakras, speech, and creative flow. She encourages authentic articulation, adaptability, and surrender. With her support, our eyes develop creative vision. She provides the essence of prana and is the balanced traits of Vata (air and ether).

Participants will:

  • Learn the attributes of each of the three Wisdom Goddesses

  • Explore building an altar for each of the Goddesses

  • Explore the practices of self care, creativity and devotion to enrich or begin an existing devotional practice.

  • Resting practices for the Goddess within.
