Learn to Practice Restorative Yoga
The Ritual of Rest is a relationship.
When the body takes a moment to pause, stop, surrender even just 5% more than the average day, that settling opens a direct portal to the wisdom of one’s soul.

The Ritual of Rest has three portals or entryways: a connection to Ground, Integration, and Quiet. These portals contain 2-3 restorative pose set-ups, including their benefits, contraindications, contemplations, and suggestions on transitioning in and out of the postures and ritual.

The Ritual of Rest is for everyone. If you desire to cultivate a personal relationship and ritual around rest through restorative yoga, creativity, imagination, self-care, and a connection to nature, this ritual is made for you. If you love the practice of Yoga Nidra, these postures are essential for added support!

This 4 week supportive sadhana will provide you the necessary skills to incorporate restorative yoga and rest into your personal practice, or support you in beginning a new ritual. The cultivation of this ritual was created to empower you to build supportive nests to rest in, and open the doorway that leads to the Self's profound truth and knowledge.

Week 1: Gather + Breathe
This first week will be an introduction to restorative yoga and the Ritual of Rest, including preliminary practices, your rest nest, props, breath awareness, and your relationship to rest. 

Week 2: Ground
This week will learn and engage with poses that help to create support and grounding. They will include Savasana, Supported reclining and Supta Baddha konasana. 

Week 3: Integrate 
This week will be about integrating. Poses will include supported twist, child's poses, and supported forward bend and it's variations. 

Week 4: Quiet
This week will focus on inversions, deep rest, and making conscious intentions for our personal rest sadhana for the winter.
